"Tornado" refers to LNER Peppercorn Class A1 No. 60163, a modern, new-build steam locomotive. Built by The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust and completing its first run in 2008, Tornado is the first mainline steam locomotive built in the UK since the 1960s. It is named after the crews of RAF Tornado jets and has appeared in the movie Paddington 2, the TV show Top Gear, and the BBC documentary Absolutely Chuffed: The Men Who Built a Steam Engine.

This image shows it powering through a field of sunflowers on the outskirts of Dundee.
