The Lone Tree at Carrot Hill. I love this image so much. The vast amount of negative sky in the image, upon closer look, hides millions of stars in the sky. With the sun set just behind the silhouetted tree the sky is painted with a gradient of colours, warm to cold. A peaceful location from which I've shot many sky images.

Buachaille Etive Mòr (The Great Herdsman of Etive) seen here with a light dusting of snow. Buachaille Etive Mòr is one of Scotland's most iconic and photographed mountains, a striking Munro peak guarding the entrance to Glen Coe. To see it in the winter time with some snowfall is really a special opportunity.

This photograph was taken from the sky just as the sun began to set behind the mountains, giving an orange to blue gradient of colour in the sky and clouds. The famous bridge over the River Etive can be seen in the forground. A favourite part of the country for many people.
