I had to write off nearly 70% of my images from this night, but managed to salvage some that I'd taken after I noticed my ISO mistake and this one makes the pain a little easier to take. Taken after sunset at Arbroath Harbour looking North West-ish. I spent around 90 minutes wandering around taking some snapshots before finally deciding to sit and wait for the sun to set in the hope that it would illuminate the broken clouds, which thankfully it did. I got speaking to a gentleman before this who had spotted me taking images and I explained to him the image I had in mind and that I was hoping for the sun to set in a way that these clouds would light up in flames and that's just what happened! He did encourage me to go and get fish and chips while I waited, and I came close to doing so :D Given the mess of my other images I might have gotten away with it and still come away with one or two nice images. Next time!
