Early 2026 saw huge plumes of Saharan dust blown over from Northern Africa causing some vivid and beautiful sunsets over Scotland. This view shows a salmon coloured sunset with the usually golden or silver River Tay taking on a beautifully warm hue. The famous Tay Rail Bridge is shown center of the frame as a commuter train passes overhead.
